You can step into your power and not let overwhelm take over. My background as a nurse for over 30 years keeps me keenly aware of the pressured working environments that can lead to overwhelm. It can be stressful managing a healthcare role along with other roles outside of work.
I took a pause and became crystal clear about my needs in my current phase of life. I found a new way forward by discovering that small changes can lead to health and happiness.

In 2020 I started doing a combination of inner work and outer work.
The inner work of reflection and practicing stress management skills lead to new perspectives and improved health. I explored positive psychology through the concepts of health and wellness coaching and it transformed my life.

My outer work involved exploring healthy movement, relaxation rituals, and social connections to support my day-to-day routines. My teaching career transformed into a new direction and now I enjoy harmony between the various aspects of my life.
Do I have challenging days? Sure! Now I can meet the challenging days with evidence-based strategies that help me shift my perspective and lift myself to see new options to move forward. The same can be true for you !
